I started a thread over at Raving Atheists, but the topic is good enough for a blog post, so here goes. Not word for word; I'm going to edit the original post a bit:
I think Holocaust deniers are crazier than YECs (Young Earth Creationists). A YEC is someone who has been brainwashed since a young age (in most cases) to believe that the bible is a guide to everything, from science to moral behavior. They look at science, and accept anything that isn't contrary to the bible, but then twist anything that contradicts the bible, to fit the bible. I'm not talking theistic evolutionists, who twist the bible to fit science. Theistic evolutionists don't deny reality, they just add to reality. Holocaust denial is a different issue. I believe in most cases, that one dislikes Jews before they become a denier. It is more complicated than just disliking Jews. Just like YECs when it comes to evidence of evolution, Holocaust deniers do not accept anything that confirms the Holocaust, from actual videos, to first hand testimony by both survivors and the actual Nazis themselves {which includes the testimony at the Nuremberg trial), are totally dismissed as lies or acts of coercion or the result of tortured "confessions" by the Allies. Meanwhile, they have their own sites which are equal to Fundy science sites, and they use the same techniques as well (example, partial quotes while ignoring mounds of evidence to the contrary). I think Holocaust denial occurs mostly with plain old paranoid Jew hating conspiracy theorists, Muslim conspiracy theorists, and to those with Germanic ancestry, where denial is a psychological response to their possible humiliation, that a people (the Jews), who many Germans historically didn't like (a lot of this had to do with the "Jews killed Christ" Catholic thingy and of course, the usual scapegoat thingy at a time of economic hardship), wound up getting sympathy after the Germans lost the war in a very large way. It was a kick in the teeth that the Jews (who many German regarded as their lessers) were getting world sympathy. and the survivors were evidence of a hideous regime of seemingly proud every day Germans. It is a test in cognitive dissonance.
I think a normal response would be not to deny the Holocaust happened, I say that because as an atheist, and as an ethnic/cultural Jew, I often have the Bolshevik revolution, and the deaths caused by atheists or worse, atheist Jews, thrown in my face. My response is to disassociate myself from the people who committed the heinous crime against humanity, realizing that Communism is an ideology (nothing to do with being an atheist or a Jew), and the fact that power corrupts. But the last thing I'm going to do is say it didn't happen, or try to rewrite the intentions of the people involved or question the amount of dead innocents (because I'm not crazy). I don't hold a grudge against the German people at all, but I do hold a grudge against the deniers, even though I think they have to be insane to go to the extent they do.
The reason I'm bringing this up is that I just joined a forum called The Liberty Forum (which is supposed to be a Libertarian forum, not Stormfront), and I was attacked from every direction by Jew haters. From Protocols of Zion bs, to my support for Israel (ok I've been attacked here too on that one), to Jewish control of the world, to blatant Holocaust denial ("a few Jews died in camps of Typhoid"). My introduction thread took on a life of its own. What I found really weird is that hardly anyone actually came to say the Holocaust is fact. I had next to no support. Here is a link to the Liberty Forum thread for anyone interested. It isn't a pretty thread, and I do wind up calling, those deserving, names. My cyber stalker Rickey even shows up (under the name Rick Carsten).
The Raving Atheist forum thread again, where by the way, one denier showed up and I did get a lot of support, though the thread strayed from my original question. Right away I was asked if I thought moon landing deniers were crazier than flat earthers'. I gave this response:

Flat earthers' represent bible brainwashed people who are denying just about every aspect of science to make their bible correct, while moon lander deniers are rejecting a historical event. But moon lander deniers are also denying science (many think we didn't have the capabilities to get to the moon) and many just think it was all part of a conspiracy theory. But the motive is the important thing when it comes to why they are denying...this is what makes one more insane than the other. So I guess it depends on the moon landing deniers motives for denying."

1) I served honorably in the US Marine Corps, in whose Reserve I enlisted for six years while at Georgetown University so I could both study and serve my country -- unlike the "Bacon-Eating Jew" lurking in his anonymity and probably without any military service -- with three proud, meritorious promotions.
Some misled Dutch Marines, as I here stated on this thread, from Jew-ruled Holland tried to murder me for my pro-white politics in summer 1979 by cowardly plotting to gang up on me, four-on-one, to throw me overboard at night -- not any of my US Marine brothers.
I was transferred, as i stated on this 21,000-view thread, from Intelligence to an all-black supply unit at Anacostia Naval Air Station in late 1979 -- by my Russian Jew commanding officer, Harvey Philip Gold, who, before my politics were known to him, had awarded me three meritorious promotions and was grooming me for Officer Candidate School.
I further state that Sergeant Jacky Botty, USMC, now of Palm Beach, Florida, stated to me that Gold made homosexual advances to him. Gold also invited me over to his apartment and would show me his Marine Corps gold sword made in England, while stroking it tenderly.
I transferred on my own initiative from the all-black Marine Reserve supply company into which Gold had shoved me to another branch of the Armed Services, the Virginia Army National Guard, where I was honored as Guardsperson of the Year of 1980 in that infantry company in Winchester, Virginia by Captain John Holt, a former Marine himself as well, a fine and charismatic officer who also looked a bit like Errol Flynn.
I was molested for years as a child by a pedophile ring with the active participation of my own mother, who subsequently spent numerous incarcerations at Butler Psychiatric Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, which later told my father that they could not take such a violent patient any longer. She finally found bizarre solace in the Jehovah's Witnesses sect, into which she dragged me until I escaped that fortress-like sect as well, and joined the Marines.
I will write of these horrors of how men and women rape boys, kill small animals to terrify children, and do things so horrific that I passed out four times when memories were triggered -- twice at a Georgetown human reproduction biology class -- but only in an appendix for those who wish to know more; most recoil in horror at any of the details. I recommend Clint Eastwood's film "Mystic River" for a sense of just 5% of what I suffered for years. I am proud that I am still alive, just as a beaten dog may live but always is ready to show his teeth.
I sought various kinds of psychiatric help after 1987, but never mentioned the pedophile abuse out of shame. Finally, I called the United Way of Rhode Island hotline for adult victims of childhood sexual abuse in July 2003.
My then-wife, Brigitte Harle, who did not disclose before our marriage her part-Jewish background from the international Schlumberger family (of France and Texas/USA), persuaded me to obtain a loan for her -- from my then best friend, at whose wedding I was years before the best man -- of $100,000. This was to enable her to purchase a small and failing ski hotel in an out-of-the-way valley of the southern area of the French Alps, while I pursued my wiriting career.
She wasted $45,000 of that loan in multiple incompetent attempts to get French banks to lend her money for the additional sums she needed to buy the hotel.
Once the money was gone, she dumped me -- without conscience, alone and penniless -- in her country of France, in December 2004, without any work permit being thereafter obtainable, and told the whole world there I was a monster and a Nazi.
Without even money to call the US, and finding myself once again in the clutches of a ruthless and ferocious woman, causing me to relive the entire trauma of years of horrors as a boy, I slashed my wrists with a steak knife to leave this horrifying life -- because I was ashamed that my noble and generous friend had lost $45,000 (some of which was taken from his college fund for his kids) due to my own misplaced trust in my part-Jewish Schlumberger wife.
The police came and gently asked me if I would like to go to a hospital overnight. I said Yes, and I voluntarily entered a hospital in Aix-en-Provence in France (which BTW is a beautiful old city north of the Mediterranean and Marseilles, famous for French Impressionist painters).
I voluntarily stayed there for four months because I was otherwise entirely penniless and homeless. I was never committed against my will, contrary to the lies of the "Bacon-Eating Jew" and Ms. Schlumberger-Harle; I came and went from there as I pleased, and on April 19, 2005 (on the anniversary of the beginning of the American Revolution in Concord and Lexington, Mass.) I released myself and flew to Washington DC to become a chief writer, and, for a time, associate editor of, the Barnes Review magazine -- of which I am immensely proud, and to whose financial turnaround I helped contribute with other talented patriots.
At no time, I state to correct the lies of these various lying Jews, was there any attempt by French or US authorities to take me into any kind of custody. A ruthless part-Jewish gold-digger had destroyed my life, and I needed a rest from her and the trauma and financial devastation she inflicted on me.
I subsequently courageously sought out one year of weekly "cognitive behavioral therapy" for survivors of sexual abuse. And, by the way, the special therapist was Jewish, and excellent. There are decent Jews who are not part of the Jewish Mafia terrorizing the world, just as there are good Italian-Americans who are not in the Italian Mafia.) This highly effective "cognitive behavioral therapy" does not delve into or rehash the old trauma, but creates a thought pattern of analyzing constantly how the old trauma seeks to resurface and attempts to keep on haunting, ruining and affecting one's life today in the here-and-now. I recommend it to anyone who has undergone a scarring experience -- which actually is very many of us -- which still sears one's psyche and may even cause nightmares, phobias and Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome today. (USA today reported that 30% of US troops returning from Iraq need psychiatric care after the trauma of that Jewish-lie-caused war. Thank you, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle and then-Cheney chief of staff Irving Scooter Libby/Liebowitz.)

He claims to be a former Marine. True, he was a Marine but he had to resign, and only his father’s reputation saved him from jail and he never mentions that he is still alive thanks to a Jewish officer that saved his life when 4 Marines wanted to send him overboard in the ocean. He claims to be a former translator for the secret services of the Marine Corps. This is a total lie. He never conducted any interrogation and never belonged to the services he claims. He resigned just to avoid jail.
He was arrested in France and sent to the psychiatric emergency for 3 days and after a psychiatric evaluation. He was not released, but sent for 4 months in a psychiatric hospital. Diagnosed with heavy mental diseases.
Then, he had the choice to go back willingly to the USA (to be deported – handcuffed and delivered to the US authorities), or to go to jail in France for death threats against his former wife. She got the annulment of the marriage for fraud and there is still an active complaint for death threats and possible attempted murder.
Even his family is ashamed of his activities and ashamed of all the false allegations he spread about his own parents.
He is so sick that he thinks the Mossad, the CIA, the FBI, the former KGB, the secret services of the whole world are looking after him and kill him because he is a threat to all the governments... He is the savior of the world, only he can save the world, in his own demented mind

I copied this from the VNN Forums (after a very quick internet search) about Joe Fields. All the info here is verifiable, though I am not going to go to the trouble of doing so. I think I'll just give Edward Steele the benefit of the doubt:) :
Rarely do I speak out against individuals who support our cause and then, always, it has been in self defense after first having been maligned by them. Today, I must break that rule and add my voice to those in condemnation of Joe Fields and his scheduled March conference.
FIRST, Joe Fields is a self-confessed child molester.
In 1996, Fields pled "nolo contendre" to four counts of violating California's Penal Code Section 647.6, in exchange for the prosecution dropping another five counts under the same statute.
Pleading [nolo[/i] to a charge (literally, "no contest," or "you got me dead to rights and I ain't got no defense") is a fiction created by the courts to allow guys like Fields to claim, somehow, that they didn't really plead guilty. Courts do this because it saves time by getting cases closed that, otherwise, would have to be tried in order to obtain the inevitable guilty verdict. People pleading "nolo" get marked down as "guilty" and are sentenced accordingly.
The most recent extended descriptions by Bill White, posted at his site, Overthrow.com, and in this thread are accurate in all respects, so I will not recount the details. The statute, which makes it illegal to "molest or annoy any child under the age of 18," is not used lightly or frivolously. Not in LA, where the cops and the DAs have far more real work to do than they can handle. The next step up from this charge requires actual sexual intercourse with children.
Both Bill White and Tom Metzger provided me partial copies of Fields' court file, at my request and without much of any comment. I saw the rest for myself in the LA County records. The file speaks for itself. Joe pled, did some hard time and then served extended probation.
SECOND, Joe Fields is a liar.
When the allegations first were brought to my attention via postings to VNN, I called Fields and spoke to him. Fields absolutely swore to me that, while he "mistakenly" had been charged with six counts under the statute above, eventually all those charges were dropped and he was not convicted, nor did he pay any penalties. At the time, it seemed unlikely to me that he would so baldly lie to me about something so easily verified. I was wrong. As the court file was to show, he lied to me.
Fields also wrote an extended letter to the WN community at the time which attempted to explain away the charges and his admissions thereto. He lied extensively in it about the charges, the meaning of his pleas, his lawyer and about appealing the result. Fields tried to blame copping the pleas on his lawyer's pressure and lying, then made some truly remarkable claims about the lawyer, to boot. I found no evidence of Fields appealing squat. He lied about that.
Quite recently, I spoke at length with Fields' lawyer at the time, Encino lawyer David Currie. Though Currie was unable to discuss much about the case, due to attorney-client privilege, California Attorney Disciplinary rules do allow an attorney to speak out enough to rebut charges made by an ex-client. Currie unequivocally called Fields' written charges (he never even had heard about Fields' letter prior to my call) "absolutely false." I believe him. Fields lied about his lawyer.
Fields issued his conference announcement stating that I would be present before I confirmed that I would attend. Despite that, I did confirm, because of the others who already (according to Fields) had confirmed. I have spoken to a couple of them. At least some of them did NOT confirm. "He shouldn't be saying that about me, since I don't even intend to be there, let alone speak," said one to me. Fields lied about that.
I invited Fields to respond to some of the above material. He declined to do so...apparently more "nolo contendre." Silence in the face of accusation is acquiescence.
Yes, one should be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Once the primary evidence of guilt is produced, however, the presumption then shifts to the accused. At that point, silence is an admission (save only in a formal court of law, though juries pretty much see things that way, too).
There is more, but that is more than enough for me. I will NOT be attending Fields' conference. I encourage you not to attend. If the listed speakers who have not yet returned my calls or answered my emails will do either, I personally will attempt to dissuade them from attending, either.
Some may think my attitude about this matter to be too harsh. To those, I say: You have a problem, not I, and perhaps you should seek treatment for it.
Admittedly, child molestation is something of a "third rail" for me, since I believe that child molesters should receive the death penalty for a first offense. Solicitation of children for sexual purposes, which is all to which Fields pled guilty, is enough for me to want to see someone locked up for a long time. Had I been the judge, Fields would not have gotten off so lightly, despite no apparent evidence of his having actually touched any of the children who identified him.
Should someone actually touch my child, I hope the authorities never hear about it .... do the math.
Lying is another matter, albeit lesser. Honesty and forthrightness are key with me in life. When someone lies repeatedly, I thereafter refuse to believe anything he has to say. Henceforth, just as will I, you are entitled to disregard anything Joe Fields has to say about anything.
We do not need this sort of role model in the WN movement. Just now, Kevin Strom's lengthening silence makes clear that he, too, is some sort of pervert. Terrific. Just terrific.
It is our responsibility to clean up our own act and condemn those among us who break the law, particularly when violations so thoroughly trash the fundamental principles upon which we stand.
Make no mistake: Joe Fields was not a political prisoner. Obviously, neither is Kevin Strom. These men do not deserve our support. They have not earned our indulgence for this sort of thing. If we do not step up and condemn their actions, then we are hypocrites and worse.
I am not the first to cast a stone in the direction of either Fields or Strom, but now I do just that. What you do is between your conscience and yourself, but I will not sit silently while men such as these posture and presume to speak for us.
Because of the extensive censorship that exists over at Stormfront, particularly concerning Strom, I will not be posting this there myself, but I encourage those of you who think it might survive to do so.
If anybody knows of Fields' conference having been advertised elsewhere, please let me know so that I might set the record straight there, as well.
